The times demand that companies show consideration for humanity and the environment in their business activities. We recognized the importance of this early on and, in response, put together an environment management system that conforms to ISO14001. In addition to observing all environment-related laws, regulations, ordinances and agreements, our entire company is actively involved in environment improvement activities. Specifically, these activities include reducing and recycling industrial waste through the effective use of natural resources; conserving energy and natural resources through higher levels of efficiency and the elimination of wasteful practices and methods in all of our divisions; limiting the use of pollutants in paint and adhesive materials, and switching to alternative substances;
reinforcing disaster prevention systems for dangerous substances and materials; and further decreasing levels of noise and vibration based on consideration for local regions. We have steadily achieved successful results in these areas, developing an olefin skin that has a reduced environmental burden, developing adhesiveless manufacturing process, recycling leftover materials and to take responsibility for waste diposal installing incinerators. We will continue to focus our efforts on responsible activities for reducing the burden on the environment.
